E-Learning consultancy & workshops (ETC International College)

ETC International College is an English language school accredited by the British Council. They offer a comprehensive range of English language training as well as special purpose courses. ETC was keen to understand how technology could be integrated most effectively to deliver online learning opportunities for both classroom and home-based learners.

As part of a consultative program, studioVerse worked with ETC to learn more about how they currently deliver training and where e-Learning technology presented opportunities to enrich the current curriculum as well as support distance learners. The subsequent workshops focussed upon 3 areas:

• using a learning platform to support learners
• using rapid e-Learning tools to design interactive resources in-house (click here to see a sample module)
• using web conferencing to communicate with students and partners

As a result of this exercise, ETC has now formulated a clear strategy for e-Learning. They very quickly adopted online conferencing as a means to interview prospective students and communicate with business partners. They also have plans for an exciting new range of online courses with online tutoring support.
