Video for e-Learning

Video for e-Learning

Video suits a wide range of learning styles and is a unique medium for conveying information quickly and effectively. With the advent of high speed Internet access, video has become an integral part in most of the e-Learning applications that we create.

Video instructors are a potential alternative to audio narration and add real personality to a learning episode. Presenters can be filmed using chromakey technology (i.e. blue or green screen) and later 'embedded' into the application. The presenter acts as an on-screen instructor as well as guiding learners as they navigate through a learning episode. The result is a much more personalised experience that is highly engaging. Video is also a really effective medium for creating case studies, 'what if' scenarios and testimonials within an e-learning episode.
